Welcome to

Here's the photo album of
my most recent adventure!

Earlier this summer I became involved in a group on the Internet called Meetup.com. It's an online site that gets people motivated and out meeting others who have similar interests by being the bulletin board for the activities. It's been fun and challenging at the same time. Those who participate make it fun, those who sign up, but never participate leave the core group scratching our heads as to what they are looking for? All in all though it's been a blast for me. I've met some interesting people and we have fun.

Below are photos of the Southern Vermont Active Singles group on our most recent hike on Mt Wantastiquet in Hinsdale, NH on Dec. 7th, 2008. Mt Wantastiquet is located directly across the Connecticut River from downtown Brattleboro, VT. We met behind the Walmart store in Hinsdale then hiked up the mountain at 11:00 am. I arrived early so I could go check on my geocache that I hid on August 31st, 2008 to make sure it was still there and the log in it was dry etc. The pics and narrative should explain the rest. Enjoy! :-)

This is Richard, Ron and Susan on top of Mt Wantastiquet looking down on Brattleboro, VT. ...and here's their bright smiling faces!

From here Ron, Susan and Richard turned back going down the trail we came up. I'm hardcore and had to continue on taking a full loop encompassing 330 acres and 4.75 miles which brought me over Mine Ledge. From here I'll let the pictures do the talking!

This is a beautiful vien of Rose Quartz in the trail on top of Mine Ledge. Looking back at Wantastiquet, see the antenna tower over the tree tops?

Hey it's the Mine (or cave) on Mine Ledge! How deep could it be.... Let's climb in and find out!
