These files are tailored for the specific deliveries done by each of the C&S facilities. There are 94 truck verified motels in the motel file. Motel names that begin with an asterisk (*) are Direct Bill motels. If you use the POI loader to load these files onto seperate folders on your memory card then your GPS will allow you to access the files seperately when looking for those locations. Stores are accessed by C&S customer #'s. Just enter the 5 digit C&S Customer # (ie 59254) and your GPS will take you to that store. No more wasted time trying to find a store or entering an address to get your GPS to take you there! Once you've purchased your file ($1.50) click on the "return to merchant link", you will be redirected to the GPS data file you've chosen. Then right click on the data file, then click on "save as", indicate where you want it saved on your computer making sure you save it as a .gpx file. Then using Garmin POI Loader software (It's Free) install the file onto your GPS. It's incredibly easy! If you prefer I now carry preprogrammed memory cards for Garmin GPS units with me.
You can either swap a memory card with me or purchase one and these files so you can
plug it into your GPS and you'll have over 1,030 locations at your finger tips for just
$10.00! That's less than a penny per location!
In some instances I've not always had the C&S customer account #'s, in that situation I've
used the store #'s. If you deliver to a store that's not on these files then please help me help you by
submitting updates or changes
so these files remain as accurate and up to date as possible. If it's easier you can leave
a copy of your trip sheet in my file folder in Brattleboro Dispatch and I'll include it in
the next revision of these files.
