On 2/14/05 I got two Grey Foxes, to my amazement the second Grey Fox didn't flee upon hearing the first shot. So I quickly chambered another round and that's how I got two. Now I know the bleeding heart anti-hunters are reading this and scratching their heads saying "How could you kill such a beautiful animal?". Well to that I have to say that society has a responsibility to care for all wildlife and our government does this through the US Fish and Wildlife Service. They are responsible for setting National Rules and regulations that each state Fish and Game dept in turn has to abide by. This is how our government works to ensure the balance of our natural resources. In recent years the bleeding heart anti-gun, anti-hunting groups have adopted a policy of harrassing hunters. Well please take note that the US Fish and Wildlife Service and all 50 states have hunter harrassment laws to protect hunters who are legally taking game. It comes down to this, our government is firm in it's stance that Conservationism, not Preservationism is the best policy for our natural resources and that is the Law! In that light hunters are doing the peoples dirty work at their own expense so don't harrass us for doing what the rest of you don't have the knowledge, or courage to do for our wildlife. Harrassing hunters will not change the laws. |
