Red Squirrels

Over the years since I started hunting I've known that others have hunted squirrels, but not having anyone to take me hunting as I grew up I hadn't tried hunting them to eat. I shot a few here and there, but never seemed to get the nerve to try one until Fall 2008. Getting past dressing them wasn't easy for me, but after I did I went online to get info on how to cook them and then when I had him cooked it wasn't easy to lift to my mouth something that moments before looked like a naked drowned rat in my fry pan. I can laugh at it now as I found it tasted like a delicacy much to my surprise and relief!

In the future I'll have to add more to this page like a pic or two but for now I'll just leave you wondering like I had for all those years what squirrel actually tastes like.
