1973 Yamaha RT3-360 Enduro

This is the first motorcycle I ever owned. Well almost... you see these pics are of someone else's motorcycle, but the same make and model I once owned. So I've put them together here to better explain my first ride. Enjoy! :-)

I used to get caught in all sorts of lousy weather with this motorcycle. A friend of mine bought this bike from me and I only saw it a few times after that.

Before I got rid of it I had disassembled it and repainted it black. I should've left it alone as the original paint like seen here was so much nicer looking. I used to ride it to Fall Mt Regional High School and once got to give a pretty girl a ride on it home to North Walpole, NH. Later I learned she died of cancer at an early age. :-( I still remember her and mourn her loss.

This bike was geared so low it would wheelie without even trying to. I also raced it once against a friend who had a street 360 bike and he nearly freaked when at the end of the race expecting to see me in his dust I instead was right on his ass! :-) Man those were the days when I didn't have a care in the world and no responsibilities. Why can't I turn back the clock?

Here's a pic of the Owners Manual! Boy this brings back memories.
